I have had a passion for cottage properties since I was a young boy growing up in the countryside and watching my dad breathing a new lease of life into old buildings.

I have been developing and renovating unique cottages for the last 40 years. I have had the privilege to work on many exciting projects, from small one-bedroom cottages in tiny hamlets to substantial six bedroom homes on farms.

All the buildings I convert are buildings that could be described as ‘old and tired’. My first task is to restore them to their original glory — a task I love! Once this is done I then add the luxury touches of modern style, often combining old and new features, such as adding a stylish en suite with a clawfoot bath, or installing a shower where once there was only an outside pump.

Another thing that sets me apart is my attention to every detail. No matter how small or insignificant it may seem, I pay equal attention to every design and detail in order to get each cottage just right. Check out my services for expert advice.

I live and work in the Lake District, northwest England. In my spare time, I love walking my two cocker spaniels, Dipsy and Mo, and kayaking. Dipsy and Mo love to join me in the water. They are also great project managers who love to supervise to ensure my jobs stay on track.

From thatched roofs to wood burners. All aspects of quintessential property I have experience in.
